Michael's Story
Life
My dad was US Air Force--I graduated from Kubasaki High school on Okinawa in 1964, where I played 'Mr. Roberts' in the senior class play. With a starter scholarship, I joined the Oklahoma State University School of Engineering, but graduated from U. of Colorado in Boulder with an Arts & Sciences degree. I worked in hotel management, before becoming an unrestricted line officer for the U.S. Navy, stationed in Norfolk, Va. I married Mary Elizabeth Ziemer, who died of a congenital heart failure in 1972, but we had two wonderful children--Sara Beth and Sean Paul.

I worked 30 years+ in Metrology for a Caterpillar company in San Diego, CA.
My hobbies are reading Bible prophecy and bits regarding our constitutional history, fishing, photography and genealogy. We enjoy family and church. We like cats and fuel cell cars.
Workplace
I have worked in the science of measurement (Metrology) during the last 30 years for a Caterpillar company named Solar Turbines, which manufactures ground based gas-powered and deisel-powered turbine engines for industrial applications (like pumping oil down pipelines or generating electricity.
