Michael's Story
Life
Moving on. My time in radio is put behind me, at least for now. Clear Channel Akron/Canton turned out to be a waste of my time, though I had five great years in Cleveland!
Currently I am in hotel management in the Columbus area. (Go Buckeyes!)
School
How annoying was I as a kid? Please, humor me. As I look back there are so many things I would've loved to do differently. Namely have myself checked out for A.D.D. lol
After graduating high school in Jefferson, I ended up trying to join the US Marine Corp. At 17, my parents wouldn't sign - so I found my first job in newspaper doing Sports in Ashtabula. The rest of the story is easy - I've been in media ever since.
My only college was tutoring Psych and English as a softball coach. Not bad, huh?

Lifestyle
My 20's brought such a heavy share of alcohol and clubs. I nearly partied my way out of the media industry. With the help of some good friends and an attitude adjustment, I righted my ship.
Family
The folks are doing well, though a tad bit older. My kid sister and her husband have a trio of munchkins that have brought out a favorite side to myself - Uncle Mike!
Some Things About School Just Stay With You
I'd have to say everyone and everything impacts me. As a sociologist, I thrive on understanding what makes people tick and why. Out of this curiosity I've maintained some great friendships with former mentors/teachers who've become friends.
As For High School
God, what the hell were we thinking? I laugh when I look back at myself, our styles and how we looked. Art influences life is not a lie!
