Michael's Story

* t-h-e-f-e-r-r-e-t-1 a-t y-a-h-o-o d-o-t c-o-m .................................................................................................................................... I have no intention of upgrading this account, so email is the only way to contact me. Signing the Guestbook is completely useless ... .................................................................................................................................... Memories: .................................................................................................................................... * At Marshall Lane I was commonly referred to as Mike K. (as opposed to frequent classmate Mike G.) or sometimes the ever popular Kel-Can! .................................................................................................................................... * While attending Marshall Lane I resided on Allendale Ave. in Saratoga across the street from "The Hall" that Mickey and Randy Illitch's parents ran; shared the backyard fence with Laurie, Kevin and Chris Kelker as well as Brian Weeks; and got into general mischief with all of those plus the rest on Fortuna Ct. Mark and Kathi Avery, Doug Roberts and Martha Simpson at least until my little brother Mark - know as Big Mark while Mark Avery was known as Little Marky at the time - was blamed for dirt clod that accidentally hit Martha in the face (Kevin was the actual culprit), which, of course, bummed me out as I always had a mad crush on Martha since the very first time I saw her ... (Think South Park's Stan's crush on Wendy) ..........................Expand for more
............................................................................................................. * As far as I can tell Rolling Hills Junior High School and Rolling Hills Middle School are one and the same. When we graduated in way back in '76 no one called it a Middle School. Personally, I prefer Junior High School ... .................................................................................................................................... * I don't remember much of Jr. High, a good reason kids should not get stoned! I do remember having a dream that they would not hand out the trimester schedule which was weird as the administration had done so for the previous 5 trimesters I had spent there. I awoke the next morning and found the schedule. When I arrived at Rolling Hills Junior High School that morning for the new trimester the administration was not handing the class schedules out. Sort of a strange thing to remember, but it still freaks me out to this day ... .................................................................................................................................... * Cardinal Newman High School and Ursuline High School are one and the same as they were a combined campus ... .................................................................................................................................... Nowadays: .................................................................................................................................... * Currently retired. I assist in the creation of board and card games when I feel the need to create.
