Michael's Story
Life
After High School I went to work for Rainbow Casino. I obtained a Vocational Degree from Mid-State in EMT-Basic. I next moved on to Winona State University where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. While at WSU I worked as a Firefighter and earned another Vocational Degree as Firefighter. All while maintaining my normal classes at WSU and working weekends at the casino. Still I was able to get my Bachelors in 3 1/2 years.
In 2000 I married and divorced in 2007. No regrets I have a beautiful, intelligent, and funny daughter. Shes now in first grade.
Workplace

high school. I worked there for over 6 years. In college I was also a Firefighter. I worked for the City of Winona during the week and the casino on weekends all while keeping up with classes.
I started as a Part-Time Deputy with Wood County Sheriff's Department. I next went to Reedsburg PD as a Police Officer. I was on the Drug Interdiction Team, SWAT Team and was a Field Training Officer.
I next went to work for Metro Transit Police Department in Minneapolis. My jurisdiction is the entire 7 county Metro area. However I normally work the north side and downtown Minneapolis. Im currently on the Departments Rifle Team and a Field Training Officer.
