Michael's Story

Hi All , Iam going to try and put this all to perspective ,one school at a time , This might be fun.
Its hard to remember where I was going to school and who I was hanging out with because I was always moving from one school to the next . Anyway My story is :
1957- First grade-It all started at Davidson Elementary school on the north end of Alvernon Way . I do remember the big concrete river along the street.Before the end of the year I had moved to Newton,Ia and Orlando,Fl.
1959-Around Feb we came back to Tucson and went to Sunnyside Elementary 2nd grade.Then April59 moved and started school at LM Prince stll 2nd grade.
1959-3rd grade at Wetmore Elementary, From looking at my report card it looks like I was there for the whole school year.
1960-Went back to LM Prince and had to do 3rd grade over by my mothers request.I believe around Nov60 we moved to Tubac Az, Tubac had one of those 2 room schools .We lived on the golf course there.
1961-Started 4th grade at Brichta Elementary. Stayed there the whole school year.I joined the Cubs scouts and my ste...Expand for more
pdad was scout master . I also had my first airplane ride out of freeway airport, I belive it was Mrs Nolen that took us up. Also I think that year 3 of us was exspelled from school a couple of days because we had mohawk haircuts, We did a Cub scouts Indain theme skitt .
Just a little note : I keep finding these notes and letters from my teaches saying Michael needs to work on self control and disruping the class .... I just wanted to to heared..
1962-Started 5th grade at Brichta but finished the school year at Mary Lynn Elementary school .
The END for now .
1968-I went in the Army in Nov68 , Then went to Ft Rucker for aircraft maint 67N , But then was changed to 93H , Tower controller . In 1970 I went to Nam July 70-71 . I came back to the world a little screw-up .
2009-Hope everyone`s doing well , I would like to hear from you and maybe talk about old times and refresh my memory because my long term memory is shot and my short term memory is even shorter.
Currently I am retired FAA in Fairbanks Alaska but working part time as a Weather Observer.
