Life
Married, 4 children, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Barbara and I live in Grand Haven, Michigan. Semi-retired now. Sold our independent insurance agency in West Michigan 14 years ago. Now do marketing consulting advertising for local business.
Adopted in Flint at 6 months old. Found my brother & sister over 20 years ago after a 51 year separation. Having a great time learning about the family dynamics.
Big Titanic & Indy 500 fan. Love to go boating, photography, reading and being active in the community.
I had a GREAT time at the 45th Reunion Sept 2004. What a great joy to be on the 45th Reunion Committee. I know we also had a fantastic 50th Reunion in 2009. We did. The 50th was greaat. Almost 300 aattended.
We have lost over 200 classmates so far. We are hunting for over 100 classmates that we were unable to find.
Over 250 classmates & guests came to the reunion Labor Day weekend 2004. Then the 50th had over 300 attend the 2 1/2 day event.

School
I really settled down my Senior Year. Miss Bishop was my Home Room, Geometry and inspiration. Biggest crush..Sharon Wick. Yes, I would do it all over again. I wish I would have played sports but I enjoyed being a athletic supporter, yes supporter sitting in the stands.
Hey the A&W and crusiing the strip was great.
But all good things must end. The U S Navy started a new experience for me. Join the Navy and see the world is true. At least the Atlantic and Carribean.
I will always be a Flint Cental Indian.
Workplace
After Flint Central the U S Navy gave me a tour of the world or at least the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. I knew when I got in what I wanted..."OUT"...Expand for more
!
Came back to Flint and started Jr College. Sold, shoes Bakers in Flint, sold mobile homes, radio advertising, and worked in the "shops till family business took me to Detroit for a few years.
Detroit is where I started my insurance career. Went to MSU Insurance Institute. Moved from Detroit to the west side of Michigan. Agency manager with Farm Bureau Insurance for over 13 years. Got burned out & was director of international marking for an audio publisher.
Got to travel to Europe & Australia a few times.
Got tired of international travel and not being noted for intelligence I bought my own independent insurance agency in Muskegon, MI.
Sold the insurance agency in 2000 & retired from insurance after 33 years.
Now I am Director of Marketing for a G M Dealer in Grand Haven I work 8-10 hours a week. I also help my wife (Barb) market a custom embroidery business.
Not ready to totally retire yet. Had fun working on our 45th & 50th Reunions.
I had a great time at the 46th mini reunion Picnic, August 20, 2005.
I have enjoyed talking or receiving email for many of you. Hope to hear from more of our classmates.
My interests are the TITANIC, INDY 500 and grandchildren. Reading and photography are great past times. I have been active in the Elks and American Legion. At Christmas time I become Santa. I start wearing my Santa hat at Thanksgiving till after Christmas. What a joy. I have the full deluxe outfit and now I find that each year I need less padding than the year before.
Barb & I live on the Grand River and pontoon when we get a chance. I love to travel and enjoy the Upper Pennisular and Florida. Disney World make me feel like a kid again.
I hope to see you at the when we have aanotheer event. We are going to plan a less formal event before the 55th Reunion. Stay in touch.
Best
