Michael's Story
Life
Married to Peggy since 1974. Met her in Couer d'Alene, ID.We have two boys, Scott, married with two sons. Kevin is married and has a daughter and a son. Both boys and their families live in the DFW area. We lived in La Paz, Bolivia for a couple of years (82-84). I've been with the City of DeSoto since '84. I am the fire marshal at this time. I am a grandpa three times. Retire from City of Desoto the end of August, 2013. Enjoy watching my grand kids and their various events. Added 4 more grandkids this summer when Scott remarried.

Workplace
I have been involved with the criminal justice system in one way or the other since college. During the last two years at Sul Ross, I was a University police officer. I was an adult probation officer in Lubbock. I was an investigator for the DA in Lubbock. I was a police officer in DeSoto for a year before I became the fire inspector here. I was appointed to the position of fire marshal in 2003. I retired from the City of Desoto the end of August, 2013. I work part-time for Stanley Restoration. I get to work with my son, Scott. We are establishing relationships with fire departments in the area.
