Michael's Story
Michael is from Bournemouth. His schools include Summerbee Secondary High School and Winton Primary. Born in my grandparents house at 19 Highfield Road Winton and spent most of my childhood at 8 Dolphin Avenue,Northbourne, Bournemouth. After the first year at Summerbee went in to the commercial class as I wanted to become a journalist at that stage. Started going to Longham riding school so soon changed and decided to become a jockey. Became a jockey and had a reasonable amount of success, then started training horses for a short time before becoming a steward for NZTR.My wife(42yrs married) and I have lived in Wnton NZ for about 30yrs have 4 children and 6 and a three quarter grandchildren with my daughter expecting her first child in July. In August we wil be coming back to UK for a trip and hope to catch up with any school mates or any one from Longham that can remember me. Would love to hear from anyone.
