Michael's Story
Life
I moved up to Jersey after graduating from UVA in 1982. I went to work for an accounting firm Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) and worked my way up the ranks to Partner in 1994. It was a great ride but in the summer of 2005, I got an offer I couldn't refuse to become the tax director for CIT; A financial services company in Livingston NJ. I got married almost 25 years ago and have four wonderful children. My daughter Regan is a freshman at St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN and is studying art (not sure where she got the art talent, I can barely draw a stright line). Prep, Shea (short for Seamus) who is 11 and in sixth grade and Cam who just turned 9 and is in the third grade. The younger two are in the local parochial school here in West Orange, NJ.
What I really love to do (besides spending endless hours on the weekends at the boys Soccer, basketball and baseball games) is to travel. I got the travel bug about 8 years ago and spend most of my free time traveling with the kids or planning my next trip. Fortunately, I have had a job where I have to take an occassional trip and can always tack on a day here or there. My favorite place to go is ICealnd (with Ireland a close second).
