Michael's Story
Military
I left for basic on March 5th, 2002. Spent 6 weeks at Lakland AFB in San Antonio, Tx for Basic and another 15 weeks learning elctronic principles. I then went north to Sheppard AFB in Witchita Falls, Tx for another 16 weeks of Avionics training. I arrived at RAF Lakenheath, U.K. January 4th, 2003. ded my tour another two years. The only other country I have visited so far is Italy, other to come soon. My enlistment is up in 2008 and I have not decided whether I will re-enlist or not.
Update 04-23-08
I decided to retrain into a new job with the AF and have extended my enlistment until Feb 2010. I am currently at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, TX for training and will be headed to Patrick AFB in Melbourne, FL in July.
