Michael's Story
Well, whaddya wanna know? I graduated from Ohio State and married Celeste Pipas (Avon 67) in 1970, so we're going on 40 years. After a few years as a social worker and a part-time stint as a student at Methodist Theological School, I started working for the US Department of Labor's black lung benefits program in 1979. n Columbus. It's a long commute, but I also get to pay taxes in both cities, so what's not to like?
We have one daughter who graduated from Kenyon College (Chuddy Eastman's old school) and is now a nurse in Flagstaff. Her husband is a ranger at Grand Canyon National Park. She's expecting our first grandchild, so life marches on.
I have gotten some compliments on my picture. Thank you - I think I look better than I did in 1966 too. Also better dressed.
