Michael's Story
Life
Went into the Air Force right after high school. Spent time in Texas, Mississippi, Turkey and Taiwan. Went to work for the Postal Service in 1973. I was a letter carrier for 26 years then became the supervisor at the Los Banos Post Office. I was promoted to Postmaster of Gustine, California in 2004. I was promoted to Postmaster of the Chowchilla, California Post Office in 2007 and I retired on December 31, 2008. Married for 44. Two children. One is a Project Manage...Expand for more
r for Renown in Nevada and the other is a Forensic Pathologist in Atlanta, GA. Spend most of my time traveling, working around the house, and golfing with friends.
Military
Lackland and Keesler in 1969 (along with a lady named Camille). Karamursel, Turkey in 1970 and 1971. Shu Lin Kou, Taiwan in 1971 and 1972. Met lots of men that I remember to this day. Stay in touch with a few of them, but wonder how the rest all turned out. Hope everyone has been blessed as I have.
