Michael's Story

Life Well simply put I have a motorcycle now that I plan to take cross country next summer. I currently reside in either Utah or Illinois I havent decited which yet. Plan on getting my securities license to be able to help people invest. I am also currently working on my CCNA for cisco. Knowing me I will have it completed in 2 weeks frow when I type this. I am currently self-employeed. Working on getting employees to help me with my company. I have decited to make a carrer in Telecommunications. Workplace I have worked many places for many companies. What I have learned is I can not phsyically work for anyone other than myself. Well let me go into detail for you. I started by working at Taco Bell for 2 years in high school. Now that is a pretty remarkable time frame. Then I went into sales and was paid commission, however I was not great in sales. Which is where I need to learn and grow. Then I worked for the airport for 2 years. The airport is one of the most fun jobs in the world. Theres something about being next to big planes I love where nobody can get to unless they have clearence. However, there is absolutely no money at the airport for ramp agents which handle all the ground controls. The best idea was to scratch that Idea. Then I learned about satellite communications. I was more leaning for phone, but I didn't want to goto school for it. So I went into the satellite field and learned what ever you want in life you can grasp. You just gotta cover yourself. Example I worked for a satellite company and I got everything I wanted as far as pay was concerend, because I told them this is what I'm wor...Expand for more
th and I deserve to be paid this. Time went on and I realized installing residentail is kind of boring and you can't make super good money. So I decited to get certified in internet dishes. Internet dishes are regulated by the FCC. Now if you don't know this about me, you will now. If I spend money I will get every penny worth out of it. Meaning if I am going to get certified for internet and I can for something else why not do both. So I got certified not only for internet, but mobile as well. By getting certified, I also became an authorized dealer for that company as well. Now I don't work for the company nor do I think I every will work for another company. 1.5 years later my residental certification was ready to expire. Again why pay for a certification when I can upgrade my certification to something that will give me the potential to make more money with fewer hours? Thats my whole way of thinking less hours more pay more time to travel. Long story short I got my Commercial certification. So now I sit with 4 different contracts with companies contracting my labor out and I am not an employee of any. This means I can hire people to work for me in due time and offer many services to my clientel. So like I said before I am self-employeed working on being an actrual company. I will first get Utah up and running which is by FAR the BEST place to get a business license in my opinion. They have very few labor laws and very few requirements for opening shop. Always a plus their fees are not that expensive. As always consult a lawyer about starting a business in a particular state if thats what you choose to do.
