Michael's Story
Life
I was working at ESPN until September 30, 2009, when my position was eliminated in a reorganization. I am currently looking for positions in engineering or higher education to hold off retirement until it is absolutely necessary.
I have a wonderful wife of 29 years, and two daughters. My wife is a Clinical Nursing Supervisor for the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of New Milford (CT). My oldest daughter, Caitlin (22) is a PhD. candidate at Cornell University in Molecular, Cellular, and Biochemistry. She has a full assistantship for 5-6 y...Expand for more
ears. Siobhan, my 17 year old daughter is a 6th Former (Senior) at St. Mark's School in Southborough, MA. She is an honors student with a B+ average (difficult at her school) and a coxswain for the varsity crew team. She is also a Peer Counselor, the Head of the Student Activities Committee, Co-leader of the Gay-Straight Alliance Chapter, and head of the Green Team, environmental organization. To earn extra money she teaches Spanish to the young children of the faculty at her school.
All in all I am very thankful for my family and all we have.
