Michael's Story

hat we can savor Cheryl's retirement, and depending on where the kids end up in life, moving to Madison, Wisconsin for our golden years.
I am still active in the community, serving on the Lake County Public Library board as a trustee, Treasurer of the Munster Rotary Club, a member of Munster Kiwanis, and (a 38-year member of Kiwanis), Lake County Advancement Committee, many others, and recently worked the polls as a precinct inspector.
My goal in life is to make a difference, (kind of cliched, I guess, and it hasn't happened yet.) I know there is a book somewhere in me, but, to this point, I have had writer's block.
My greatest accomplishment has been my family. I have a wonderful, caring wife, who probably does not get told enough, how much I appreciate everything she does, and three wonderful children, who I am so proud of and wish them interesting and accomplished lives. They will be great successes in life and will never be bored. I will continue to fight the good fights and hope to make things better in the world.".
