Michael's Story
Life
1979 - a great year to graduate high school. A great year to get married, to join the air force, and to leave Alamogordo to make a decent living. I was an invisible student at AHS, which applied to anyone who wasn't a cowboy or one of the ethnic groups. Nope - a hopeless geek who graduated in the top 10% (whee!), relying on a small circle of friends for support and guidance. I haven't heard from a single one in over 20 years, and not a one appeared at the 10 year reunion. Did '79 have a 20th? o fend for myself in '79. We do want to return to Alamogordo. It's a nice town, and I still have inlaws there. Someday soon. After 20 years, I'm still married to the same girl, retired from the air force, and work as a logistical analyst/implementer/trainer for a west coast software firm specializing in metrology software. If you don't know what metrology is, just ask! 3 children, ages 19, 17, and 11, a poodle, a cat, and an immortal algae eater in the fish tank. I enjoy ham radio, and can be found on 3.768 on many evenings when I'm not travelling on the job. Don't know what ham radio is? Just ask! Go Gamecock baseball!
