Michael's Story
Life
Living in Western Canada Enjoying Life with my wife Maureen and our 4 children. Miss the area that I grew up in but these days hardly recognize South Montgomery county when I get down there from Canada. While it is cold in the winter, I am only two hours from the mountains and great Skiing, although my kids keep telling me I have to get off the skis and get with the snowboarding. The other great thing up here is that in summer I can golf until midnight In June. and July :-) My boys both are enjoying playing Hockey and recently got to play a team from the Dallas area that travelled here to Edmonton. We will get a return trip next year to play in the tournamnet in Dallas. All 4 of my kids are looking forward to that trip to see where Dad grew up. :-)
College
Sam Houston State, University of Texas at Arlington and Texas A&M left me with some of the best friends that I have had (Jack Mason, Henry Pryor, Steve Thorton, Don Ray, Kevin Key, Rob Faber, Barry Cochran, Asit Kini, Dr. Alex Carter. Although we do not get to see each other often or in some cases at all, the memories are great and the friendships and activities sustain a lifetime.

e. I tried every major out except english it seems since my quest was to stay in school forever. I finally settled on a Degree in Agriculture (B.Sc.)and then later came back after selling construction equipment and working as an Ag teacher coach for a year to grad school to get my Master's and PhD n Education. Moved to Canada to pursue being the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for one of the Colleges here. Did that for two years and then went into the computer industry with Digital equipment. Started in the Consulting side of things and moved to Mid-management, finally left after a year as Compaq Computers and went into software manufacturing for enterprise QA software as one of the equity owners of a mid siz firm. Have been doing Software Enterprise solutions for a while now as the VP of Sales for our company. We have over 4000 customers, most in the Forbes 2000 customer list, based in 142 countries and it gives us the opportunity to learn a lot about the various industries we serve and more imortantly who not to invests in :-)
One of these days I will finally make a decision on what I want to be and pick a career to retire from. As well I am a full time dad to my 4 kids and that is quite the rewarding job.
