Work at Rensselaer Polytechnicn Institute. You can find me on that website as well as on fb. Glad you stopped by to see how I am doing. I am still in the northeast and still miss Texas and Austin from time to time; especially in the winter. I am saddened to hear that our alma mater has experienced some serious challenges since the glory days of the 80's. I'll keep my fingers crossed for us. I get back home for work once or twice a year, so hopefully I'll get to see some old friends.
As many of you may recall, my then girlfriend and now wife, Krystal (Green '89), had a beautiful baby girl, Brittney, that same summer. Earlier that day, I began college at Texas Lutheran (College) University in Seguin, where I studied Marketing/Management & played basketball. Krystal enrolled at ACC the following January before joining me in Seguin with Brittney. In '93 I recieved my degree in Business and in '94 Krystal recieved a Degree in Multidiscplinary Studies with a concentration in Communications (Cum Laude). been a wonderful career as an elementary school teacher. I coached at TLU for a year before taking a job as Assistant Director of Admissions there.
In June of '97 we were blessed with another lovely daughter, Kerris.
In June '98, I accepted a position at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI,) a university in Troy, NY as Associate Dean of Admissions and Director of the Multicultural Recruitment Program.
Our family is doing well. Krystal teaches third grade and is now internationally known as an educator. She was selected to present workshops and training sessions to students and faculty at her sister school in Nouakchott, Mauritania, Africa.
Brittney, who has virtually grown up on college campuses, is a college freshman now and after a rocky start is finding her footing academically (we hope.)
Kerris is 10 going on 36 and does one hell of a job of keeping her parents and big sister on the go. Unfortunately, Krystal and I missed our 10 year reunion. Hopefully we will hear from many of you and/or get a chance to visit some of you when we are in Texas again.
