Michael's Story
Life
I was there, and a few other places. I also did a few things. Some things were for others and some were for me. Now, I am here and sometimes over there...and there, and still going and doing things.
School
I sure screwed up those days. I was not being me. I wish I knew then what I eventually learned...Just be myself. I was trying to hard to be someone else, trying to fit in, wanting to be a part of the class, but ended up with virtually no friends...
College
Took ...Expand for more
a long time with working, military commitments, and moving, but I met my goal to at least obtain an Associate Degree.
Workplace
Wheew!
Military
Traveled to places I would have never gone on my own. Met people I would never have met on my own. Learned and participated in different cultures I would have never had the opportunity. Matured. Learned respect. Gained respect. Learned responsibilty. Became responsible. Learned trust. Became trusted. Learned to be myself.
