Michael's Story
Life
I finally live at the ocean in sunny Santa Barbara California! Santa Barbara is by far the most beautiful coastal town I've seen worldwide. I'm also working as a Graphic Designer/ Art producer.(What I actually went to school for!) I've done work for the International Film Festival, actor Kurt Douglas, and the band Kiss! It's a dream job in a paradise town. I am still an avid runner, but surfing might over take it soon. I can ski in the mountains and surf in the ocean in the same day here. I spend most of my free time at or in the ocean. Whale spotting has become one of my favorite things. There is something almost...magical and humbling about it. I've seen Blue, Humpback, and Gray whales so far...Expand for more
. Next comes diving lessons so I can see the 'other side'. I hope everyone else from our class is living their dream too- It's never too late! Blue skies and blue water forever- Mike .....I'm adding this a year and a half after my original posting due to repeated questions. No, I'm not married anymore. I was for about six years, divorced in 2000, and no kids. I moved here (S.B.) in early 2006. And yes I see dolphins all the time. Usually every morning on my coastal runs. I call them my 'running partners' . And no, no matter how long I'm here, I will never take them for granted. It took me too long to get here. And I am still amazed by them....every time.
