Michael's Story
Life
Since leaving Groovy Gouverneur 24 years ago I have been serving in the US Navy. This has afforded me many opportunities to travel all over the world. My first destination was 3 years in Sicily, that put to shame any italian food that was in Gouverneur. After returning I have lived in numerous places up and down the east coast from Jacksonville Florida to Annapolis Maryland.
Serving in the Navy has also allowed me to see the very exciting countries of Bosnia, Kuwait,Isreal ...Expand for more
and Iraq as well as the beautiful Persian Gulf. I will pass on any return visits to these places.
Some of the places I would not mind returning would be Rhodes, Corfu and Creete Greece, Turkey, France, Spain, England, Ireland, and Italy.
I met my wife in 1998 down in Jacksonville Florida and life has been grat since then, except for the brief long term military commitments I was away from her.
I am now retired from the Navy but still work for the Navy as a government civil servant.
