first job was at Muir's Drugs, where I got paid .75hr to do alot. What I remember most about it was that huge register.
Some of the things about the neighborhood I'll always remember are:
Going to the barber shop on the corner of Ohio, Blanches soda shop, and going over to the shoe repair shop.
Royals hamburgers.... donutshop on Joy Rd & the Tracks.
The dairy ? at Tireman & Kentucky.
Playing strike out on the play ground.
Tearing down the old gym. What happened to the Bucket that was displayed just...Expand for more
inside the south school entrance? Blue/Gold.Who's got the school class pictures? Have they gone digital yet?
The tree scapes on Wisconsin (or any othe street)from Tireman to Joy Road.
The stores were closed on Sundays. A few summer school sessions. Midnight Mass on Christmas.(When it snowed...too cool!)
I enjoy the show, "Wipe Out". It reminds me of paying taxes!!!
The story wizard wants to know how do I blow off steam! You follow the 5 W's and the H. I relax in the yard, garden, on the lani with a laptop.
