Hi Guys -
I haven't lived in Michigan since I graduated from U of M in 1980 ... and what a long strange trip it's been.
I married Denise Mizer from the class of '74 [who I met at U of M not at Stevenson] ... we divorced 5 years later :-(
I remarried 10 years ago :-) and have two beautiful daughters [and a beautiful wife ;-) ] and live in a suburb of New York City. Yes, we watched the towers fall. No, we didn't work IN the buildings but near them and visited the WTC regularly for business and pleasure. I almost took a job there but it was really eerie on the 91st floor ... I was just as glad I didn't get the job. We didn't lose any personal friends but know of some amazing survival stories.
I started out trading investment securities in Indianapolis and Columbus before moving to New York City to trade for what is now J.P. Morgan Chase. I moved on to the information/internet industry and after working for Dow Jones and...Expand for more
a number of internet startups over the past five years, I settled in with international news at the Globalvision News Network for a while. GVNN went under due to the death of our founder, Leonardo Mondadori of Mondadori Publishing in Italy. I've since returned to the investment community working with ICAP and an Economic Research firm Wrightson.
I'm also organizing a new national children's charity. Our site should be up soon at ticKIDS.com. Check it out.
If you were ever to look me up, you won't find me under the name Pavella - I changed it to Summerfield quite a long time ago [long story].
I've talked to some organizers of other reunions and all have suggested a Summer date is better than Fall or Thanksgiving. I'm betting mid-late August would work well - so we've chosen the weekend of August 19th, 2005.
