Michael's Story
1) How do you hope old friends remember you?
I would like to think that my old friends remember me as my current and future friends. Someone who is kind, caring and loves to have a good time with his friends...and better yet to not get caught doing it.
2) Where have you lived? Why did you move?
Pretty much either Miles City or in the Denver Metro area. I moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder to study engineering. I now reside outside Boulder in a small town call Louisville. It's a great place to live. I raised all of my kids either in Boulder (when I was going to school), or in Louisville. They're all grown now, and I can't imaging a better place to be.
3) How do you blow off steam? Describe your favorite way to relax.
I blow off steam by exercising and lifting weights, and getting together with friends. To relax I like to take walks with my dog, watch a good movie, meditate, and hobbies (gardening, helicopters, carpentry, etc).
4) Share your obsessions.
I try n...Expand for more
ot to obsess, so I won't admit to any.
5) If I won $100 million.
If I won $100 million, I'd give most of it to my church and a foundation that I form (anything to not give it to the government), then spend the rest on some retirement savings, my mom, my family and friends and a long vacation for myself. I would then the time working the foundation to help people wherever I could. It's a little sappy I know, but it is a dream that I have had...doing for others.
6) To be truly happy, you would be where, doing what, with whom?
To be truely happy...now that's a good question. I've always wanted to transition from engineering to creating things with my hands. I guess, in a way, that is what engineers do, but I am thinking more along the lines of an artisan. That dream is still a ways away though.
7) Working hard? Reveal your career aspirations.
I work very hard, and I enjoy the work that I do. However, it is not what I want to do always. Before my career is over, I would like to build my own company.
