Michael's Story
Currently
I am divorced and lost my Mom in July 2009 to an autoimmunity disease (wegeners disease). Working on Cmm's for Hexagon Metrology. Living in Elyria, Ohio with 3 children(well 2 of the children are 22 and 20) , 2 cats and a dog..My Ex wife passed away this year in July, so the family went through a rough patch...my step daughter from my first marriage is now living with us..
Elementary
I went to Douglas McArthur till the 5th grade then I went to live with my Dad in Colorado. I was home sick and came back home after Thanksgiving and then finished 5th grade and 6th grade at McArthur. My favorite teacher was Mrs. Kerber in 3rd grade..I remember playing Little League baseball, alot of great memories..1st at bat, I hit a Home Run over the fence :)on my Birthday...
Jr. High
I went to live with my GrandParents in North Ridgeville. 7th and over half of 8th grade. I played Hockey in 7th grade, we went 0-12 but I scored a goal :). The only...Expand for more
teachers name I remember was Mr Widow. I remember making a shirt in Home Ec. The most embearassing moment of my life happened just off the school grounds, enough said.
My Dad, moved back to Ohio end of 7th grade and I went to live with him. He got a job offer to move to Rock Valley Iowa when I was in 8th grade..We moved to Rock Valley.
I finished 8th grade in Rock Valley.
High School
I went to Rock Valley Community High School..I belive that we had a graduating class of around 50. Rock Valley had 1500 people, small town. I played Football for 4 years and lettered as a junior and senior and played in a couple of games as a sophomore. I played basketball as a freshmen and sophomore, didnt continue because I didnt like to sit on the bench,(small town) the line up was set..High School was laid back and it was a better experience then if I would have gone to HS in Cleveland.
THere is more but I havent had the time so maybe when I get bored...
