Jan 2010 Update:
2009 was pretty cool...I spent part of the spring in Florida as we prepared and launched the second of three NASA/NOAA GOES Weather Satellites. I'm actually back there with my team now as we prepare to launch the last of the new fleet in late February.
Another milestone for me was attending my 40th High School reunion..first ever for me and enjoyed it thoroughly.
Finally, I am continuing with Triathlons and Team-In-Training..doing a (gulp) full Ironman in July. In major training with Ironteam now. You can check out my progress at my Hutchboy website.

First, I've been happily married for 20 years this past May to Anne (had to put that in if she ever sees this.) We live in South Redondo here in Los Angeles. I am a Spacecraft Manager for the NASA/NOAA GOES Weather Satellite Fleet at Boeing Satellite Development Center. Prior to that I worked as an engineer on the Space Shuttle Main Engine Program out here for 11 years and prior to that on the Space Shuttle External Tank program in New Orleans for 7 years. Highlights were first Shuttle Launch and more recently the launch of the GOES Weather Satellite this past May.
