Michael's Story

Life Since high school, I spent 4 years in Active Duty Army, most of which was in CA. Afterwards I stayed in CA, I moved to the San Jose area and worked some odd jobs until I attended a Tech School and quickly found myself in the computer support industry. I was in Californa for about 11 years and found that I really missed WI and The midwest so I planned a move back to Green Bay and posted an add to meet some people in GB before moving. I got lots of replies but one caught my eye, and before I knew it I was hooked. I couldn't believe it, I had used the internet to find a girl friend. I thought how weird is this. So I could let it be a 100% internet relationship and a few months after meeting I moved to Hudson, WI...Expand for more
to be close to my gf. It wasn't hard to find work, I got a job within a week of moving and things were going great. New Years Eve came and I asked my gf to marry me. Earlier in the evening I had sliped the ring box in her purse and she found it when looking for something in her purse. She never really answered, one of the few times that she has been speachless. 18 months later we were married and it has been wedded bliss ever since. I had been getting a little burnt out on computer support and in 2008 I finally broke down and went back to college. I got my Bachelors in Business Management. Ever since I've been working in management - leading a group of IT Support Techs. I do a little wood working as a hobby.
