Michael's Story
Life
I moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado in 1979, to attend Colorado State University.
My nickname in college was "Cleve", a name I'm still called by my fraternity brothers. Apparently, no one in Sigma Alpha Epsilon had ever met someone from Cleveland.
I inadvertently enrolled in the "7-year plan", eventually graduating with a BA in Communications, in 1986.
That following spring, in 1987, I moved to Chicago, into Lincoln Park, migrating 12 blocks north, into the Lakeview neighborhood, the following year. From 1990 to 19...Expand for more
94, I pursued my Master's in Fine Arts in Film at Columbia College. I met my wife Kathy in 1990, married in 1992, and lived in Lakeview until 1994.
In 1994, realizing that moving to L.A. would be the next step after getting my MFA, I stopped my studies, did some soul searching, and moved back to Colorado.
I am a Channel Account Manager for SolarCity, pursuing a 25 year passion of environmental preservation.
Kathy and I live in Highlands Ranch, CO, in south metro Denver, with our 2 sons, Alex (17) and Zachary (12).
