Michael's Story
Life
Went to UCSB, received BA Chem (1983), BS Chem Eng (1983)and MS Chem Eng (1984). Entered Software field and have been doing that ever since! Worked at ABB, Honeywell, then started my own company in 1988 (Sequencia). Sold part of company to Rockwell in 2001, then the rest to OSIsoft in 2002. Isoft in late 2005 to form Transpara, a software ISV dedicated to driving corporate transparency and collaboration.
Workplace
I am the luckiest guy I know. I have worked in the technology arena for 20 years in progressively more interesting and challenging roles. I am now President of Transpara in the Bay Area, and my family and I live in Pleasanton. What a great life!
