Michael's Story
What do you tell former friends and students after you haven't seen many of them for over 30 years. Well, life has certainly had it's highs and lows. I would say mostly highs with 2 incredible kids.
One getting ready to go off to college and the other getting ready over the next couple of years.
I still see my closest friends, Doug & Poom. We talk quite often, but certainly not as much as we did when we were kids.
I often think about the class of 1976. How did we all turn out? How many of us are still in the area, what are we doing and does anyone still keep in touch with each other besides, Doug, Poom and myself?
I do see Marie Bruno occassionally. She doing great!
For me, well, I was married for over 20 years, I know. You might be thinking you got married really young and I did. I've also been in the re...Expand for more
staurant industry for over 30 years. I've been on the corporate side, the development side, I've owned several different concepts and now now I own an executive recruiting company.
I'm still in the Chicago area. This year, in after my son Michael graduates from high school, I'll be moving back closer to the city, Oak Park area. It's time after all these years. My Mom still lives in the same house in Berwyn, while my Dad moved out and on and currently lives in AZ with my step mom.
My siblings, yes their still all around too. Scott is in the car business, so is Tim and Dan. Bill is a pure survivor. He's gone through 2 kidney transplant surgeries and Sandi, well she's doing great too.
I'd love to have the chance to get caught up with anyone after all these years. I hope everyone is doing well with their lives.
