Michael's Story
Life
After High School I attended Beckley Jr. College in Beckley, WV for one semester. After that I enlisted in the Air Force and received my Draft Notice while in basic trng at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio Texas. From there I was stationed at Keesler AFB, Biloxi Ms., learning Bomb Nav Systems. August of '69 found us looking down the throat of a Catagory 5 Huricane, Camile,that ws almost as much of a mess as Katrina. From there I was stationed at Platsburgh AFB in NY. I traveled through the the US and Canada. After being discharged I attended Kean College in Union, NJ. I can be contacted at mikest250 at aol. com. ife Fran and two sons Mike & Scott, to Florida. Since moving here I worked at Home Depot as a sales associate for a year and a half. I was asked to come interview for a position with the Port Orange Police Department, was hired and have been working there for about a 3 years as a Animal Control Officer. This is a small town much like Clark but on the Atlantic Ocean. When I'm not working you can find me on my motorcycle or on my boat off the coast fishing.
In 2006 my son, Mike married and gave us our first grand daughter, Taylor Rose. They live around the corner from us and we see her every day.
I have been in touch with several ALJer's over the years. ran into Rich Givney in tallahassee, Don Henault (Brother of Ron) and rita Colletei from Westfield (who seemed to know ther entire Class of 69)
