Michael's Story
Life
Attended Hinds Jr. College after graduating and then attended MS State University. Graduated MSU with a BS in Electrical Engineering in Dec 1982. Married Judi Babin of Hattiesburg 05/81. Judi and I have three children, Michael Jr. 05/84, Sara 01/87, & Joshua 02/91. We live in Bovina (just outside of Vicksburg). I have been working for the US Army Corps of Engineers since Jan 1983. Workplace
I have been working for the US Army Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg, MS as an Electrical Engineer (more recently as a Computer Engineer) since Jan, 1983. The work has been rewarding and I have learned a great deal during my tenure. I have traveled extensively both within the US and outside of the US in my job. I guess it is too late to consider another career and I figure I will retire from the Corps someday.
