Michael's Story
Life
After graduating from high school in '91, I spent a year in the service (then Army reserves) and attended Gannon Univ. in Erie, PA. I then returned to Pittsburgh to completed training as a surgical tech. in '94. nd eyes for transplant. In '02 I took a position as a manager of a tissue bank in Durham, NC.
I married Elizabeth Cherie Harper in '96 and we have since been raising 3 boys (Samuel, Michael & Nigel).
I have also been writing and performing spoken word poetry for the past 6 years.
