I've been lucky, because I pretty much got to do what I wanted, when I wanted to do it. These days, I divide my time between So. Arizona and Mexico. It's my reward for living a semi-clean life, for getting sleep whenever I can, for flossing regularly, and especially, for daydreaming in class during my entire educational career. (What can I say? If you don't have dreams, you have nightmares.) I've made it back to the Motor City once or twice every decade, so I probably have enough years left to see Belle Isle three or four times more before Checkout Time. But then again, maybe not, since you never know when you're gonna get your ticket punched.
