Michael's Story
Life:
I'm retired/retiring! I took the buyout for Federal employees - it's not a great time to work for the gov't. I'm eligible to retire, and was intending to retire "some time" this year, and the 2nd round of buyouts was when I decided to get out while the getting was good. 43 years in Defense.
Now I can try to catch up on any number of projects, ride the motorcycles more, and start taking my hobbies off the shelf. Oh, and travel more, look for a place to move, and spend more time with the grandkids!

20 year Navy vet - retired in 2002 - Who'd have thought I'd be career military?!
Hobbies:
Motorcycles - a couple of H-D touring bikes, and my '82 Yamaha (first bike) is in my shop where I may try to get it running again - some day...
High Power Rocketry - this isn't little Estes rockets - these are big, fast & high flying. I've gone 13,749 feet, and I've hit Mach 1.16. Biggest rocket I've flown was 70 lbs, 10.5 feet tall.
Amateur (Ham) Radio - been licensed since 1985, my callsign is N2GEG. Looking forward to getting back on the air.
Volunteer Fire/EMS - Maybe I'll go back to it?
