Michael's Story
Life
Date: 7/04 I had a lot of fun and many great memories during my childhood up in Northern Minnesota in and around Gilbert, Biwabik, Virgina, Twin Cities. 90% of my family relations still live there. I loved playing Hockey.
Moved to Mesa, AZ to finish last half of 6th grade, what a drastic change. Lived there for 2.5 years but during 7th grade we made a quick 4-month or so move back to Gilbert, MN. After 8th grade Dad got a job offer in Riverside, CA, so we had a family meeting and ended up moving. Started 9th grade in Ramona High in Riverside and then family moved into the Arlington High School zone for my last two years.
Didn't have many hobbies in school my last year but did get a jump kick start on my career when a Civil Engineering company came to our drafting class, looking for a draftsman to train. While I worked I took a class or two every semester towards my AS and Certificate Degrees. Was going to continue my Career but found my wife and started a family, and then we found a nice job out in Ventura very close to the ocean. Would hate to move~!

ool and still at it. Love working on computers, hardware and software and surfing the net although still have not tackled the skills of creating a web site yet. I even have thought of acquiring a new career in Networking or Information systems.
I have played a little roller blade hockey years ago, not the same as ice hockey but similar and now IÂve been riding my 21 speed road bike for some exercise and fresh air. Would love to ride with Lance Armstrong or Greg LeMond, I probably could not keep up with them for very long but would be a sweet moment.
I have been married for 8 years now and have two cute little girls at the ages of 6 and 3.

The Now pic is of me with my 3 brothers and parents in the "old downtown", Sac, Ca the day after we went to the 2003 pre season Viking-Raider game in Oakland. Yes, we did go in the Raider stadium wearing our colors, purple Viking jerseys.

I really did not get involved in school activities since I was so happy to get out of all the peer pressure and get home. I did run cross country in 9th grade and was a band member for 9th & 10th grade.
