Michael's Story
Life
After high school, I worked for a few years at Northwest Hospital as a surgical technician (read: Whipping Boy). After that, I enlisted in the US Navy as an Engineering Laboratory Technician and Nuclear Machinist's Mate, got married to a wonderful woman, and learned to hate Crystal Lite. I'm out of the Navy, now, and working in property management
College
I was on the 12-year track to a BS: spent 3 years at the UW in microbiology, took a brief hiatus of about seven years, and then finished with a BS in Nuclear Engineering ...Expand for more

Military
I came, I saw, I ate strange stuff. I visited many exotic places, did some things I'm proud of and a few things I won't admit except under extreme duress, and lost more years off my life than just the six I spent in the Navy. You just had to be there.
The other hats
I've also run a photography business, did brief stints as a delivery driver, personal chef, opera chorus singer, voiceover artist, arbitrage salesman, occasional pirate, writer and editor, and travel agent.
