Michael's Story
Michael has been married to Julie since 1971. They have two sons: Josh and Brendan, and four grandkids: Brendan, Gabrielle, Lennon and Elly. Michael went to Calvert Hall after St. Dominic's. He went into the army after graduation in 1968, serving with a Special Forces Unit for three years. He then attended Loyola College for 3 and a half years, obtaining a BA after 2 1/2 years, and an MA one year later. Ph.D. in psych. He entered the navy as a psychologist in 1978 and was selected for the original SEAL Team 6 in 1980. He left the Navy in 1984 and entered the CIA, where he served for 22 years, mostly in the Middle East, Africa, and counter-terrorism assignments. He retired in 2006 but worked as a consultant for the CIA and DoD for several years. Now he goofs off, but is active with the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Knights of Columbus, and several veteran's organizations.
