Life I was born and raised in Bourbonnais, IL, living in the same house all throughout my elementary and secondary school years. I went to Illinois State University for 7 semesters before having to drop out because of burnout and financial issues. I lived in Illinois 'til 1992 before heading out to Denver for 2 years. From 1994-2005, I lived in northern Kentucky (Cincinnati suburbs), lived on the Ohio side of the river for 2 years, and then returned to northern Kentucky in late 2007. I re-enrolled in school (finally!) in 1999, earning an Associate's in Computer Science in 2001 from Southern Ohio College. I had been *trying* to get through an online Bachelor's program in Web Development through National American University (South Dakota), which I expected to complete sometime in 2005, but I'm not sure if that's the route I want to take now. Without a solid foundation in computer science, I've found that it's difficult and stressful to take the advanced online courses without having immediate feedback.
