Since graduating from Warren, I attended Long Beach State for my B.A. degree in English and attended Pepperdine University for my J.D. degree in Law. My college was interrupted briefly while I was in the Air Force where I served as a Medic. I have been in the private practice of Law since 1976 concentrating in Family Law (divorce, custody & support), Civil Litigation, Collection, Personal Injury & Social Security Disability and General Trial work. I was in private practice in Orange County from 1976 until 2006. My wife, Karen, and I have two great children: Merrissa and Sabrena. Merrissa is now 37 years old and was married in October 2004. We have three Grandchildren as a result of Merrissa's marriage - Cole (age 9 yrs), Fisher (age 7 yrs) & Willie (age 3 yrs). Merrissa graduated with her degree in communications from Cal. State Fullerton. Sabrena is now 34 and graduated from U.C.L.A. in 2006 with a degree in applied mathematics. She is presently employed in the Seattle area. I have been actively involved in my community over the years including PTA president and executive board member of the PTA serving in various positions over a 10 year period, two time delegate to the State Convention, President of my prior homeowners association in Anaheim Hills for 10 years, President of my current homeowners association in Rancho Bernardo & Vice-President of a 2nd homeowers association (where I have an additional property interest), a...Expand for more
