michael's Story
Michael is from Chicago, Illinois. His schools include Hans Christian Anderson Elementary School (located on the near northwest side of Chicago), Algonquin Junior High School and Irving Crown High School. While attending Crown Michael was involved in athletics, inclusive of football, basketball, and track. In the summer he played Babe Ruth League Baseball. After a severe football injury he was resigned to quit high school his junior year mid-term. Subsequently, his draft lottery number came up during the Viet Nam era but, had thought it best to join the Navy. After having been honorably discharged he attended Arizona State University, earning degrees in both English and Philosophy. He worked successfully at Motorola and Honeywell International Inc, in Phoenix, Arizona where he still resides.

Music Michael likes includes god Ozzy Ozbourne, Frank Zappa, Johnny Winter, Joe Walsh, Black Label Society, Doo Wop, R&B, Classical, Jazz, Blues, Classic Country, Creed, etc;. Other interests include classical literature, William Faulkner, John Steinbeck and comics (mostly The Silver Surfer). Primary love are his 10 grandchildren ranging from ages 14 through 1.3 years of age.
Michael has an increasing thrill with paranormal movies and reality shows, after having an experience shortly after the passing of his beloved brother, Patrick J. Denman, an Irving Crown graduate... Class of 1973.
Michael looks forward to communicating with any classmates who may have graduated prior to 1970 or later, in order to discuss and reminisce our years at either Crown or Algonquin... either the good or heartbreaking moments.
