I joined the Air force after leaving Burley in 1976. Was stationed in Upper Heyford, England for two years as an Aircraft Mechanic on F111 fighter aircraft, subsequently went to Ogden, Utah doing Depot Level(major) repair on F-4 and F-16 fighter aircrafts. In 1981 started flying as a flight engineer on UN-1N helicopter. First at Hill AFB Utah for 2.5 years and then on HH-53B helicopter in Hawaii for another 2.5 years. rts of the world some good some bad. Was is Panama, Somalia and the first Gulf War beside alot of other places. Retired from the Air Force after 20 years in 1997 and completed my degree in BS-Business information systems. Held a couple of jobs before landing at one of the State of California's major data centers as an Information Systems Security Specialist. Completed a CISSP (Certifed Infotmation Systems Security Professional) Certification in 2002. Along the way quit most of my bad habits. I was married from 1980-1986 to the first wife and and had two kids, Jennifer and Laura. Married the second in 1989 and have been married over 32 years . She brought two kids from her first marriage. So now we are into the Grand kids 7 so far. Been living in California since 1986 and retired about two years ago.
