Michele's Story
Well I went to Henry Ford Community College for a year after graduating from Allen Park High and took basic requirements to transfer to Ferris State University. I went to Ferris State University from 1987-1989 and graduated with an assocaites degree in dental hygiene. I basically worked and had two knee surguries on the same knee that was operated on my senior year of high school. I had to wait to take my licensing test while this was going on so I worked a few basic jobs and one of them was at Brook's party store in Allen PArk. I got my first and only hyigene job in 1991 and was at this office in Allen Park for 16 years. I got laid off due to downsizing because of the terrible economic status in our state and I am thinking about going back to school for something in the medical field. I met my husband Jerry at my work and I had been cleaning is teeth on and off for 7 years until he finally asked me out. We have been together since and got married on Feb. 3,2006. entire time except for when I went to college. My parents still live in the same house too and are both retired now. My sister Lisa lives in Taylor and is married now too. She is a school teacher and is currently teaching pre-school in Taylor. Neither one of us has children yet so my parents are still waiting to be grandparents. I do have an adopted nephew named Jeremy and he is a senior at John Glenn High School in Westland. I have know him for almost 17 years and his mom Debbie and I ahve been friends this entire time. I have spent alot of time at Jeremy's various activites over the years and have been the photographer at many events. I have learned over the past few years I love taking sports pictures and made each of the boys on his baseball team a cd of all the pictures I had taken over the season. One of my pictures was actually used in the Westland Observer Eccentic newspaper. I had a few pictures used in a magazine last year from an event I went to and the article needed pictures so a friend submitted mine. I think that is pretty much it. Michele
