Michele's Story
Married high school sweetheart David Burger in 1985. He joined the Air Force. After 3 years in Japan and 16 in Cheyenne WY, we returned to GF to care for aging parents in 2003. My beautiful daughter, Dawn, graduated GFHS in 2006 and just graduated from nursing school in Omaha. My terrific son, Joe, graduated GFHS 2008 and graduation from UM in 2014. Go Griz!
After almost 21 years, I divorced Dave in 2006. I didn't mind the mid-life crisis, it was his girlfriend I didn't like. HA-HA!
I left GF a few days after Joe graduated to return to Cheyenne WY. I wanted a fresh start away fr...Expand for more
om all the drama, so I started looking for an opportunity to transfer with my job. (Working for the Feds definitely has its advantages.) It was almost too good to be true when my old job opened up just as I was starting to look. So I got my new beginning in a familar place. I finally did something for myself and it was the best change in the world!
An agency reorganization forced a relocation to Denver CO in 2012 and I love it here!
In 2010, I met the man I was meant to be with! To this day, we have never even had a disagreement ... about anything. Life is certainly wonderful.
