Life
I figured I should fill this out before my gold membership expires. I also had a blast at our recent 30th reunion and want to thank everyone who worked on it and everyone who came out on a laughably rainy night. I highly recommend attending the reunions, where no one is clicquey and everyone is thrilled to see you, even if you never said a word to each other from 1962 right on through to 1975 (and I was shy enough to be among that group). Somehow a real bond persists anyway, which feels particularly strong with the kids I went through Cranbury and West Rocks with. live in a converted warehouse building in the far West Village, just a block from the Hudson River. After growing up on Tulip Tree Lane, the very last street in town, I relish living two blocks from the supermarket, not owning a car and getting everywhere on my bicycle. I'm a writer of magazine articles, short stories and a monthly column in our local weekly paper, The Villager (anyone who's really interested can find the articles at thevillager.com by typing in my name). I've also got myself sucked deeply into two different PTA's and a lot of neighborhood issues; at the moment I'm helping to fight the city's biggest developer, which wants to build a monstrous building next door to us. I'm also the proud mom of a new wirehaired Dachshund puppy.
