Michele's Story
The best way to sort through my life is lists. Here goes:
I have lived in 46 states.
Been to 6 countries.
Owned 21 cars.
Have 4 ex-husbands and countless ex-boyfriends (and single now!)
Have had over 500 jobs (including temp assignments)
Have had 12 pregnancies-none full-term(eventually resulting in THE surgery.)
Have had 7 foster children.
3 thwarted adoptions.
I have had 10 surgeries.
I have been a secretary, waitress, construction worker, worked on a shrimp boat, childcare worker, nurse, masseuse, business owner, office manager, legal assistant, soldier, singer in 3 bands, dog groomer, and a lot more that I can name.
I hardly ever slept, and I walked everywhere.

Buddhist at age 30, so I have done that for over 21 years now! I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2004, so now I have no choice but to sit down! I have actually had MS since I was 2 years old, (when the strokes and night seizures began) but doctors just didn't catch it.
I was in a wheelchair or used a cane or walker at first dx, but I am on a new (controversial) chemo now and do whatever I have the energy to do. I also have Hashimoto's Thyroidits, Degenerative Disk Disease and Rheumatoid Arthritis, which are all also autoimmune (and all about pain.) Apparently I have damaged chromosones.
Otherwise, I'm great!
If I had one do-over, I would have been born healthy.
