Michele's Story
Life
Since graduating: I was married for 27 1/2 yrs; moved to northern Alabama (five miles from the Tennessee line) a year after marrying and have grown roots here that won't be dug up! I have a daughter, Brittany (25) and my son Chance (23). I have devoted my life to them, being involved coaching them in basketball, baseball, football team mom, cheerleading sponsor, and watching my daughter in Baton competitions, a Majorette-she has been twirling since the age of 5 and was a Varsity Cheerleder at her school. My son played sports year-round since the age of 5...Expand for more
and is quite an athlete. God knows they didn't get their talent from me! I kept myself busy with all their practices, games, competitions, recitals, exhibitions, etc... and still hold down a full time job and a part-time job. Both my children are in college pursuing their degrees. My husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer Feb. 7, 2008 - after a tough 10 1/2 months, he lost the battle Dec. 25, 2008. Looking forward to the next class reunion. Would love to hear from my buddies from school, I may have moved miles away, but I haven't forgot my friends.
