Michele's Story
Life
Since graduation, I've spent most of my time moving! Went from Orlando to Idaho to Orlando back to Idaho (had a baby girl) and now Georgia (had twins - boy & girl). Started and finished a Master's in Accounting (should have done that before the kids!). Now I'm self-employed and trying to keep up with all the activities going on.
College
Just a point of clarification -- since I didn't start college until long after I had moved out of my parents' house, my "roommates" include my husband and children. Ever try studying for a test with a 2 ...Expand for more
year old? How about 2 of them at the same time (twins)? I'm just glad I survived!
Workplace
I'm feeling very fortunate right now in my work -- being self-employed gives me the freedom to "be there" for all of the things my children are doing. Class party? No problem! Football/soccer/baseball game? No problem! Maybe someday I'll go to work for someone else again, but for now, I would rather be available to and spend time with my children. They grow up too fast!
Military
I was just lucky enough to marry a submariner... Lucky me! :oþ
