Michele's Story
I like to put on my headphones & turn on MP3 player real loud, & work in my yard! I have 5 acres to work on, so it's nice to be out in the sunshine working all day!
My obsessions are (in this order) my family, my 3 doxies, tattoos, drag strip racing, & working in my yard!!
The biggest surprise in my life has been living w/out my parents! As a kid, you think your parents will be around forever, but little do we know! I lost my dad 23 years ago, & my mom passed on 3 years ago! I miss them both terribly!
My daughter has taught me to see past what's on the outside! Amber is handicapped. She's 24, but with 12 brain surgeries, she's really only about 11-14 mentally. Talk about seeing the world thru the eyes of innocence! What a beautiful world this would be if we all saw the world thru my baby girls eyes!!
If I won $100 million, I'd give ALOT of it to my sister Nicole, (cuz she'd have to manage it for me) then spend the rest on my family, a LONG vacation and whatever else came to mind. OH, & I'd buy a 69 Cutlass 455 Convertible!!!!
My best friend now, would tell you I'm hilarious, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as CRAZY.
I share my home with my family & my dogs, which I find comforting.
If I could have one do-over, I would not have gotten married so young!! I had NO idea what I was doing & I hurt my husband very badly!! I'd love to go back & have the chance to 'know what I know now' & re-do, or not hurt him at all!!!! He's a good man & was a great father & didn't deserve all the pain I inflicted!!
To be truly happy... I am, for the first time in my life, truly, 100% happy & content with my life! I love the man I'm with, my baby girl has accomplished MUCH, MUCH more than any doctor ever said she would, I love our home, I love my dogs, I have wonderful friends, & life is GREAT!!!
The people from my past who I'd most like to see again are Joanna Rokusek, Theresa Rokusek & Audrey Muir! They were my first friends when I moved to Carpentersville!!! We actually grew up toge...Expand for more

I've lived in Illinois (obviously), Iowa, & Texas. We had to move back to midwest from Texas because of the heat & humidity! When you can't go outside to hang out in the summer because it's too darn HOT, that's enough for me!!! I also missed the changing colors in the fall & the snow at Christmas!!
My hero is my daughter Amber Rae! Any person who can make it thru 12 brain surgeries, 6 foot surgeries, & have such a positive attitiude should be everyone's hero! After being told she would never walk, never talk, be mentally retarded, & die before she was 2, I am simply AMAZED at all that my baby has accomplished in her life! She works at her job, Mon-Fri. 8 to 3, is very independent, & even has a boyfriend! And she is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet!! She is truly my HERO!!!
Wildest thing I ever did in school... Kim Tessmer & I decided to ditch school one day. We went to a friends house & were hanging out. Out the front window, we saw a teacher or principal walking up to the door of our friends house! Yep, BUSTED!!! We got caught!!
I always wanted to be a mom when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a very bad idea. As it turns out, they were very, very, wrong!!!.
How do I hope old friends remember me... Boy I hope the ones I was close to don't remember!! I was a TERRIBLE, AWFUL, friend!! I was young, stupid, insecure, & didn't know the first thing about truly being a friend! I hurt alot of people & wish I could take back the bad, mean, awful things that I did to hurt people! They say you learn as you get older... well that's the truth!! There are 2 certain girl friends that I wish I could go back in time & redo things with! The one was my best friend, & I blew that BIG TIME!! Kim T. I am so very sorry!!! The other, was my friend later, after high school! She tried to teach me that life is NOT about being controlled! It took me A LONG time, but Michelle W., I finally wised up!!!You did get through to me, believe it or not!!
