Shelly's Story
The night of graduation I left Gilbert in search of what the big, bad world had to offer. For about 10 years I traveled and lived in a plethora of cities, states, and countries. My only real claim to fame from this phase of my life, is that I was the first plane to fly into Israel after the Gulf War. Funny Story -- Upon entering the airport to retrieve my luggage I was handed a card from the airline stating: "Thank you for flying with us. Don't get shot. Enjoy your time in Israel. to gravitate towards Americans." Attached to the card was a red rose. I still have both the card and rose to this day.
I returned to Arizona 10 years ago to re-connect with family and friends, as well as finish my B.A. in History at ASU. Presently, I am a full-time marketing specialist.
I FINALLY married on July 7, 2007, to the most amazing man - Taeven Thompson (pronounced Tay -vin). So far we have no rug-rats, but we're workin' on it! For now, we reside in a little house in Mesa with our dog Winine and two cats, Miss Bunny and Lucy.
